“Shop Maryland for the Holidays’ annual campaign was announced Oct. 26, as an initiative to buy local for this upcoming holiday season by Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot. The campaign will be partnering with Maryland Retailers Associate and restaurants with a new addition of credit unions this year.”

 

If you’re like so many other Marylanders, you love your state and all that it has to offer. It is also extremely important to shop local in Maryland for the holidays for those that can’t make it home. Citing an "exponential growth" in Covid-19 cases, federal public health officials urge people to stay home during the holidays.
